What kind of fishing is there?

Man Lake is an exceptionally beautiful, private lake (no public access) that offers fantastic fishing!  Being a private lake, there is little boat traffic so it is peaceful and scenic. Man Lake is connected to Baby Lake and McKeown for additional fishing. The numerous species provide an option for freshwater angling.  Throughout every season there are fish to be caught.

Man Lake has an area of 491 acres with a max depth of 93 ft  and water clarity up to 12.6’ deep/clear.  The lake environment promotes an abundance of Muskie, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie, and a variety of panfish.

What is your availability?

Contact us anytime to check specific dates of availability.  Early reservations are recommended.

Are the cabins on the lake?

All seven of our cabins are well-spaced lakeside. The cabins have a lower elevation for ease of access and proximity to the water.  The sandy beach is ideal for swimming and other leisure activities.

What is the rental price of the cabins?

Prices vary by length of stay, time of year and cabin size.  Please check the rate Accommodations and Rates or contact us for exact details.

Do you rent boats?

We offer a 16’ Crestliner with a 60 hp Yamaha motor with additional fishing amenities, motors and a pontoon for rent.  Please check Accommodations and Rates for details.

A 14’ Crestliner boat is provided free of charge with each cabin rental (motor rental and gas are not included).  Cabin rental also includes free docking of one resort boat or launching and docking of one personal boat.  Also available free of charge are kayaks, a canoes, paddle boards, and a paddle boat.

What is there to do at the resort and in the area?

Enjoy the relaxing change of pace while you catch up on the activities of your family and friends.  All the while you can fish, swim, kayak, canoe, paddle boat, water ski, tube, make a campfire for S’mores, children can play on the playground, play basketball, adults can compete at horseshoes, take hike, ride a bike, go bird watching, or capture our beautiful north country with photographs. Our resort borders the Chippewa National Forest for public access for hunting grouse, water fowl, and deer. With the change of seasons take in the Autumn colors or enjoy our winter wonderland ice fishing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.  We are certain you can be as busy or relaxed as you desire.
